I am impressed with the story tonight that showed human connection that Blair had with the woman that was living on the street. I guess I'm impressed because we normally just see reporters doing their normal job but for her she made a human connection with this woman and felt for her. She has really impressed me.

Her compassion for the homeless often goes above and beyond even her profound understanding of the issues, and she also understands the pain felt by property owners at the burdens of nearby camps. I repeatedly see Blair Best doing interviews with drug users, homeless people, crime victims, etc. She is the epitome of good reporting, not being judgmental and letting people understand and view what things are really like in Portland. And sometimes it is pretty depressing stuff. Major kudos to her and her work!
